Mission Statement

CHRIST POWERED RECOVERY is a fellowship of men and women whose lives have been adversely affected by alcohol or drugs.
We, as a fellowship, practice a 12-step program of recovery.

We believe these 12-steps to be a practical guide to biblical life changing principles. We believe that there is one
God, The Father, The Almighty maker of heaven and earth. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, The Lord the giver of life who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
We trust in this Trinity to be OUR HIGHER POWER.

We, the members of CHRIST POWERED RECOVERY, recognize the need for reconciliation between traditional
12-step recovery programs and the church.

WE WELCOME ANYONE WHO HAS THE DESIRE TO STAY CLEAN AND SOBER,
WHO IS NOT OPPOSED TO OUR GENERAL METHOD OF RECOVERY.

The ultimate goal of CHRIST POWERED RECOVERY is to build a personal relationship with Jesus Christ in peoples lives.
We welcome you, and pray that you find hope in these words spoken by Jesus Christ,
‍“ Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”. Matthew 11:28

We are dedicated to the principles of anonymity and confidentiality; anonymity demands the greatest discipline of which we are capable.

Philosophies

Identify in a manner, as you see fit!

The word of God is the ultimate authority.

Our doors are open to any person with a desire to seek help, openly face their addiction, and agree with our method(s) of recovery.

Christ Powered Recovery combines biblical principles and a twelve- step program to promote sobriety and spiritual growth.

We at CHRIST POWERED RECOVERY believe that as Jesus spoke of the harvest being plentiful and the workers being few, we who are recovering need to help those who are seeking recovery.

We look to the Holy Spirit for order, unity and leadership.

We at CHRIST POWERED RECOVERY seek to be self-supportingthrough our own contributions.

CHRIST POWERED RECOVERY seeks to serve as a connection between the church and twelve step programs. We refrain from political and doctrinal issues.

We at CHRIST POWERED RECOVERY have Christ as our higher power but we encourage persons of any faith to participate.

The respect of a member’s privacy in identity, testimony and confession is to be respected. When we use digital media (ALT) Social media, we are responsible for our own anonymity and for protecting that of others.
